Sex may be a common topic in the US, but there are some facts about sex that most of the American population is unaware of. For instance, cold feet is probably the reason for a lack of orgasm. A UK study found that 80% of couples wearing socks during intercourse were able to reach orgasm, but only 50% were sockless weren’t able to reach orgasm. In addition, two of the leading causes of temporary impotence in men are cigarette smoking and tight pants. Other medical issues involving sex includes: erotic asphyxiation, which 500-1000 Americans die of every year, and almost half of all Englishmen fall asleep during sex. When patients come in with any questions, even involving sex, medical billing and coding specialists must know the codes for the different symptoms in order to document everything correctly and issue the right bills and records. Medical billing and coding relies a lot on codes that are taught during training, and in the process, specialists learn interesting medical facts as well that most are oblivious to, such as the truth behind cold feet.
